If you have never removed a shoe's existing (factory) insoles - you're in for a treat. How manufacturers think that a 1/16th inch of fabric is going to cushion my feet is beyond me. Starter insoles are 1” thick and cushier than the other insoles available. I would caution against ordering the other thicker options as they are stiffer and elevate your foot too high. This could cause foot pain and discomfort. Overall happy with this purchase as it makes retro sneakers (Jordans, Air Trainer SC) more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
